Characterization of Actinotalea alkalitolerans sp. nov. from Radionuclide-Contaminated Water and a Correction of the Descripion of Actinotalea subterranea sp. nov.

The purpose of this work was to determine the composition of microorganisms in a sample of LRW having a pH of 10.5, to isolate bacteria that survive in these extreme conditions, and to determine their possible participation in the transformation of waste components.
