Inspecting and testing the aging weight loss of cable insulation can assist in assessing the quality, service life and functional performance of the insulation part, issue alerts for samples that do not meet the aging weight loss standards, provide a basis for enterprises to implement product quality control, support enterprises in carrying out technical improvements, offer important references for government quality supervision and consumer product selection, and mitigate social safety hazards in advance.
1. Data Collection: Conduct multiple aging tests on the samples, and collect data including insulation surface area, weight before aging and weight after aging during each inspection procedure.
2. Data Processing: Calculate the weight loss of the tested product by processing and analyzing the measured data. The formula for weight loss is: Weight Loss = |Mass before aging - Mass after aging| / Surface area. The service life and performance of the cable insulation part can be evaluated based on the weight loss value.
