Number of subscribers to residential offers in Portugal 2020-2023, by service

In Portugal, the telecommunications service with the most subscribers was the mobile telephone service, which registered 8.2 million subscribers in 2023. This was also the service that saw the highest increase in clients from 2021 to 2022, going up by more than 1.1 million. Following were fixed-line telephone and pay television subscribers, whose number rose to 3.6 million in 2023. Overall, there were 12.6 million subscribers of residential telecommunications services in Portugal, regardless of them being commercialized as individual services or as parts of bundles.
