资源简介:
Elicitation is a promising strategy to improve plant's secondary metabolite production, particularly in soybean and mungbean. Among different types of elicitors, microbes have become a successful agent to augment the level of bioactive compounds. Microbes consortium gave a better results compared to the monoculture in terms of inducing secondary metabolite production. On the other hand, Ragi Tape-a traditional food fermenter from Indonesia-provides a diverse microbial population with better elicitation properties. However, the exact microbial taxa in the Ragi Tape-elicited soybean and mungbean remains unknown. Therefore, to identify the microbes population from Ragi Tape in soybean and mungbean elicitation, DNA from Ragi Tape powder and inoculated Ragi Tape in soybean and mungbean were extracted, then followed by amplification and sequencing of V3-V4 region of 16S and V4 region of 18S rRNA genes for bacterial and fungal taxonomic identification using Illumina MiSeq platform, respectively. The understanding in microbial population will help in revealing biomechanism of in elicitation using Ragi Tape in elevating secondary metabolites, specially in soybean and mungbean.
