资源简介:
This data release contains data used to characterize the near-surface hydrogeology in the Tully Valley, NY mudboil area. Datasets include:       (1) Surface geophysical data (Geophysical.zip) to infer different textures of unconsolidated deposits and zones of anomalously high groundwater specific conductance. These data include valley-wide surveys using two frequency domain electromagnetic induction (FDEM) conductivity sensors (GEM-2 and DualEM-421) to map bulk electrical conductivity to a maximum of about 10 meters depth, as well as select lines with active seismic multichannel analysis of surface wave measurements (MASW) to map seismic shear velocity to about 20 meters depth.       (2) Geotechnical and drilling log information (Geotechnical.zip). These data include drilling log soil texture descriptions, standard penetration testing results, and laboratory analysis of soil samples for geotechnical properties.       (3) Hydraulic test data (Hydraulic.zip).  These data include hydraulic slug test and summarized water level from wells, raw slug test displacement data, hydraulic conductivity estimates, and minimum and maximum observed groundwater levels.      (4) Specific conductance data (SC.zip). These data include continuous specific conductance measurements from three wells over approximately one year, as well as the maximum measured specific conductance from discrete measurements for these and several other wells over the same time period.      (5) Geospatial data (Geospatial.zip). Includes the approximate locations of brine pipelines running below the valley, an updated surface geological map, and a high resolution (sub-meter) digital elevation model.       Additional details for each dataset are available in README.txt files in each corresponding zipped file as well as an accompanying report (Williams and others, 2025).
