Time-related Adverbs in Portuguese: A Syntactic-Semantic Lexical Dataset

A Lexicon–Grammar syntactic-semantic lexical resource with 680 entries (672 distinct stored written forms) for temporal adverbs in European and Brazilian Portuguese. Each entry includes a formal pattern, principal temporal class (MTD, MTU, MTF, MTA or PAH), temporal and aspectual properties, two syntactic diagnostic judgements, variety flags and an illustrative sentence. 247 entries are flagged LG for prospective future local grammars representing productive or partly productive families of formally related expressions; the grammars are not supplied in this release. Backslashes before commas or periods in the Adverb field protect literal lexical punctuation and are retained by design.
