Nerve and glial cells in fruit fly embryo. Glial cells (stained green) in a fruit fly developing embryo have survived thanks to a signaling pathway initiated by neighboring nerve cells (stained red).
果蝇胚胎中的神经细胞和胶质细胞。在果蝇发育胚胎中，因邻近神经细胞（红色染色）启动的信号通路，胶质细胞（绿色染色）得以存活。
