The accumulation of polyphyllins in different tissues of Paris polyphylla was different suggesting that the genes involved in the polyphyllins biosynthetic pathway differentially expressed in different tissues of Paris polyphylla plants. In this project, transcriptome sequencing of Paris polyphylla cDNA from root, stem and leaf with the Illumina HiSeq™ 2000 sequencing system, and then analyze the differences in gene expression between groups and screen for genes related to polyphyllins biosynthesis.
