EDS maps of different elements in banded steel subjected to hot- and cold-rolling with subsequent heating at two different heating rates (5°C/s and 20°C/s) to 700, 735, 765, 830 and 950°C followed by water quenching to determine the effect of the element segregation on recovery, recrystallisation and ferrite to austenite transformation.
