Bibliometric Dataset – The Influence of Transit-Oriented Development on Land Use Planning and Urban Form: Case of City of Johannesburg (Scopus & Google Scholar, 2023–2024)

This dataset contains the raw bibliographic records exported from Scopus on 13 April 2026 using the search query related to “transit-oriented development”, “land use planning”, and “urban form”. It includes 78 publications (after merging with Google Scholar results and removing duplicates, 71 unique records remained for the bibliometric analysis). The data were collected to support the bibliometric analysis presented in the paper: “The Influence of Transit-Oriented Development on Land Use Planning and Urban Form: Case of City of Johannesburg” by Tshiamo Domingo (University of Johannesburg). Each record contains standard Scopus fields such as authors, title, year, source title, abstract, author keywords, index keywords, affiliations, DOI, citations, and document type. The dataset was used with VOSviewer software to generate co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, and country collaboration networks. This dataset is provided to ensure transparency and reproducibility of the bibliometric analysis. It is particularly useful for researchers studying Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), sustainable urban planning, land-use transport integration, and urban morphology in developing-country contexts.
