Transcriptomic analysis of the effect of LINE-1 silencing on cultured mouse cortical cells in vitro

Cortical cells were isolated from E17 mouse cortices, infected with a AAV expressing short hairpin RNAs against LINE-1 (shL1-a or shL1-b) or a control shRNA (shCtrl) and collected after 21 days in vitro. RNA-Seq libraries of in-vitro cortical cells transduced with AAV vectors was made using the TruSeq RNA Library kit v2 (Illumina) and run on a NovaSeq sequencer in paired-end reads mode (2x50bp)
