Supplementary data for "Deformation gradient averaging regularization for third medium contact"

This repository supports the manuscript “Deformation gradient averaging regularization for third medium contact“ by O. Faltus, M. Amato, and M. Horák, published first as a preprint at https://arxiv.org/, see the current description of the Zenodo entry for the latest reference. This repository contains analysis results of the numerical examples presented in the aforementioned manuscript. The data are contained in the VTK file format enclosed in a ZIP archive, one per simulation. The simulations were conducted in a development version of the open-source software OOFEM (https://www.oofem.org/). This repository will be updated with the relevant input files and link to the code once this will become available in a public version. Reading the data The data can be read using the open-source VTK reader software ParaView using the following procedure: Download and install ParaView from https://www.paraview.org/ Unpack one of the ZIP archives with data. All files contained in the archive must remain together in a single directory. Launch ParaView. In ParaView, click "Open" and select the .pvd file from among the unpacked result files. If prompted, select the "PVD reader" to open with. Use ParaView to examine the data, see the ParaView guides at https://www.paraview.org/resources/ if necessary. Version History On May 13, 2026, data of additional simulations from the published version of the related article have been added to the repository.
