Larval and post-larval crab data attained from zooplankton net samples during the 2012 & 2013 Arctic EIS Surveys and the 2017 Arctic IES Survey

Larval and post-larval crab sampling was performed at matching grid stations across three sampling years within Arctic IES Phase 1 and Phase 2 programs. Samples were collected at sea following NOAA-AFSC protocols for oblique bongo net tows from the 60cm diameter - 505um mesh nets. Samples in 2012 & 2013 were taken from Net 1 (Zoop. PI Alexei Pinchuk, UAF) and Net 2 in 2017 (Zoop PI David Kimmel and Weems). Collected samples were examined under a microscope in Juneau, all crab larvae sorted, enumerated, and identified into species and stage-specific taxonomic categories. The data files contain: station information, including latitude, longitude, and time; summary data for supporting environmental variables, and all crab species and stage specific abundances (number per sample). Files are comma separated values.
