Italy: distribution of the imported value of cured meat products 2018

Western Europe was the main market Italy imported cold cuts from.According to the data provided by Prometeia, the imports from western Europe accounted for 77.2 percent of total imports value in 2018. Furthermore, between 2013 and 2018, the share of imports value to new EU countries increased significantly. In 2013, they held 11.7 percent of total import value of cured meat products. Five years later, their share was 16.5 percent.
