This RNA-sequencing was performed to identify genes or pathways associated with heterosis based on comparative gene expression profiles between hybrid cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) variety (cabbage-36) and its parental lines (cabbage-34 and cabbage-35). Sequencing was done in the cotyledon and young leaf samples of cabbage, using the Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform.
