Soil health data (soil characteristics, fauna, microbiome) from Legincrop project (ACTAE) 2017-2018

Legincrop project was conducted in Vietnam (former Yen Bai, now re-named Lao Cai province) in 2017 and 2018. Intercropping system (cassava-cowpea) was compared to monocropping cassava system and the effects of legume addition to the main cassava crop were assessed on soil physico-chemical characteristics and soil biodiversity (including soil macro-, meso- and microfauna and microbiomes). This dataset includes the results of the soil physico-chemical analyses, the raw counts of soil fauna and the rawdata of amplicon sequencing (16S and ITS) that were used to prepare the manuscript entitled "Cassava-cowpea intercropping system rapidly enhances soil health in mountainous regions of Northern Vietnam".
