Metadata associated with the doctoral thesis “A physicochemical perspective on fission-track thermochronology”

This record refers to the metadata associated with the doctoral thesis entitled “A Physicochemical Perspective on Fission-Track Thermochronology” (University of Campinas, 2025). The research developed a physicochemical framework to interpret fission-track annealing as a solid-state reaction, including the definition of effective reaction rate constants, a critical reassessment of the Principle of Equivalent Time (PET), and the analytical formulation of a closure temperature equation.
