Scanning Photometer Data in Zhongshan Station, Antarctica

The Meridian Scanning Photometer installed at Zhongshan Station is one of the
Polar Research Institute of China (PRIC) and the National Institute of Polar
Research (NIPR) of Japan cooperative projects, which observes aurora variations
in three wavelengths (427.8nm, 557.7nm and 630nm) along the invariant meridian;
its scanning range extends almost from horizon to horizon. The observation was
started in March 1995. However, it was interrupted during the period of July
1995 through Feb. 1997. The data is only valid for dark time. In other words,
there is no valid data during the middle of October to the beginning of March
every year.
