Species density rasters for an example study area in Alberta, Canada, used as an example input for the piecewise smoothing method. Rasters provide the mean predicted density of birds in males per hectare for the entire study area. Each species raster is the mean of 32 rasters produced from bootstrap replicate models of bird density (version 4) from the Boreal Avian Modelling Center (BAM).
