The data is for the Town of East Montpelier, Vermont Flood Hazard Area Overlay District which includes the 100 year floodplain derived from FEMA National Flood Insurance Program data 2013. It also includes the mapped river corridors, which corresponds to their river corridor by-laws adopted in 2012. This layer is for zoning and planning purposes and represents limitations on development to protect from the damages of flooding.
