Petition of Rafael Guirado for grant of agricultural parcel, 1836

Guirado had taken possession of the land and sowed a portion of it the prior year. Described as: Contiguous to Rancheria de los Poblanos, contiguous on the West to the Main Road to San Pedro, bounded by the same, 350 varas in a Southerly direction 50 degrees East; thence in a Southerly direction 40 degrees West bounded by lands of Abel Stearns 320 varas; thence Northerly 50 degrees West 270 varas, bounded by the lands of Paula Alanis; thence Northerly 26 degrees East, with the lands of Julian Valdez, to the road and point of beginning, 336 varas.
