Results of a survey to develop an extension to the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) Statement on good reporting of systematic reviews and meta-analyses, in the form of a checklist, to guide the writing of abstracts for systematic reviews

Starting with a list of possible checklist items generated from the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) Statement and other published guidance, a three-round modified Delphi survey involving 100 experts was used to refine the checklist items. The data also includes qualitative responses on what respondents thought should be included in a systematic review. Contact the creator for access to the dataset.
