Another copy of the preceding Commentary. It does not contain the author’s preface, but includes the complete text of the Ṭawâli’.

Beautifully written in Nasta’liḳ, with a separate space for glosses, which have been occasionally added by the original hand. The word قال is invariably written in gold, and اقول in blue. Each page is between gold lines.

The colophon runs as follows:

وهذا آخر الکتاب، و قد تم بالخیر بعون الملک الکریم الوهاب ، فی العتبة الشریفة، و السدّة العالیة المنیفة، لدار الکتب المبارکة لحضرة من خصّة الله تع بالکمالات الملکیة، و الریاسة الانسیة، مظهر کلمة الله العلیا، مکرّما (!) بالعنایة و الهدی، علیم نطق بلسان الشریعة المصطفویة، حکیم ظهر بحکمته آثار العلویّة، ملجأ الافاضل و العلماء، ملاذ الاولیاء و الاتقیاء، امام الائمة و العلماء الراسخین، سلطان السادات و المشایخ فی العالمین،

کریمی که در کامش اهل جهانرا

جهان امانست و جای امانی،

مظهر الطاف الملک المهیمن الآله الامیر الکبیر السیّد السند التحریر حبیب الحق و الملّة و الدین شاه محبّ الله خلّد الله تع فی تشیید مبانی الدین مآثر افاضته و خلافته، و اوضح علی کافة المسلمین مفاخر رحمته و رافته، کتبه احقر خدامه، و تراب اقدامه، جعفر بن جعفر الرضا الْعَریْضی الحسینی تجاوز الله عنه فی یوم الاحد الثالث من ربیع الاول عام احدی و ستین و ثمانمائة الهجریة الخ.

Two seals of the above-mentioned owner, Muḥibb Allah b. Khalîl Allah Ḥusainî, are on the title-page, which also has an ornament in gold and colours, intended to contain the title of the work. Seal of Ibrâhîm Nauras (‘Âdil Shâh II.) on the first page.
