1940-2021年全球海洋温度现场观测数据集

CODC-GOSD海洋科学数据是由中国科学院海洋大科学研究中心（大气物理所和海洋研究所牵头）构建的全球海洋现场观测数据集。CODC搜集了自1940年以来的大量全球海洋观测数据，包括海水温度、盐度变量；包括XBT、CTD、Argo、Glider、浮标等11种仪器类型观测到的数据。CODC-GOSD中，仅温度和盐度数据就有2000多万条廓线。CODC-GOSD数据来源包括NOAA-WOD、我国自主观测数据等。
CODC研发了特色的海洋观测数据质量控制系统：CODC-QC (中国科学院海洋数据中心质量控制系统)，对原始现场观测数据进行了系统性质量控制。COMS-GOSD同时对历史海洋数据中的系统性偏差进行了订正，包括XBT、MBT、Bottle等，极大地提升了数据的准确性。
CODC-GOSD数据准实时更新，实现了海洋环境状况的实时监测。CODC-GOSD在本网站公开共享，数据可通过DOI引用。

The CODC-GOSD marine scientific dataset is a global in-situ ocean observation dataset constructed by the Center for Ocean Mega-Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (led by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics and the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences).

CODC has collected a substantial volume of global ocean observation data dating back to 1940, covering variables of seawater temperature and salinity, as well as data acquired by 11 types of instruments including XBT, CTD, Argo, Glider, and buoys. There are over 20 million profile records of temperature and salinity data alone in CODC-GOSD. The data sources of CODC-GOSD include NOAA-WOD, China's independently collected observation data, and other sources.

CODC has developed a dedicated marine observation data quality control system, CODC-QC (Quality Control System of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Ocean Data Center), which conducts systematic quality control on raw in-situ observation data. Additionally, CODC-GOSD corrects systematic biases in historical ocean data, including those from XBT, MBT, and Bottle instruments, which significantly improves the accuracy of the dataset.

CODC-GOSD is updated in quasi-real time, enabling real-time monitoring of marine environmental conditions. The CODC-GOSD dataset is publicly shared on this website, and the data can be cited via its DOI.
