Homogeneity of Arabian Peninsula dromedary camel populations with signals of geographic distinction based on whole genome sequence data

The main aim of this study is to explore the genetic diversity and structure of dromedary camels from the Arabian Peninsula. This study shows that Arabian Peninsula dromedary populations are homogenous genetically. A degree of genetic distinction has been revealed among them that classify the different populations into geographic groups; North, center and west; southwest; and southeast.
