Inventory of abandoned sludge deposits in extractive processing processes in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia

The basic objective of the project is the preparation of an inventory of deposits of abandoned sludge in processing processes of extractive industries existing within the territory of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, as established in the Complementary Technical Instruction 08.02.01, of the General Regulation of Basic Standards of Mining Safety. The work was carried out by the company CGS, S.A., commissioned by the General Directorate of Energy Industry and Mines of the Ministry of Employment and Technological Development of the Junta de Andalucía, under a technical assistance contract, during the years 2005-2006. The information is provided in inventory sheets where the information regarding abandoned sludge deposits is collected, and then implemented in a database.
