SmartSeparator

This dataset accompanies the research article "Smart Separator: Optimizing Conveyor Belt, Vibration Feed, and Drum Speeds of Barrier Eddy Current Separator." The project focuses on applying machine learning techniques—specifically multi-output regression models—to optimize the speeds of critical components in a BECS system for improved separation quality and energy efficiency. The dataset includes a single Excel file containing collected results from 82 experimental scenarios under varying machine conditions. Each row of the Excel file records the input and output parameters used in training and evaluating the predictive models.
