Harmonya is building a new language for consumer products that complements existing manufacturer, retailer, and industry data sources. We gather information about packaged non-alcoholic beverage products online at the individual UPC level from content generated by consumers, brands, and retailers. Using our proprietary machine learning and natural language processing capabilities, we have developed the most comprehensive database of product attributes and characteristics.
This listing is for packaged non-alcoholic beverage products - including carbonated soft drinks, water (still/sparkling), juice, energy drinks, ready to drink coffee and tea, and other types of relevant products. The list of specific categories and products is customizable.
We refer to these attributes and characteristics as our ‘tags.’ Unlike other CPG industry data sources, Harmonya’s platform allows for an individual product to have an unlimited number of tags. This unconstrained approach to attribution provides complementary depth and dimension to otherwise hierarchical and static data sets commonly referenced for ready to drink beverages.
Combining Harmonya’s tags with our customers' and partners’ market measurement data for packaged non-alcoholic beverages creates enriched data assets which unlock deep insights about product, brand, portfolio, and category dynamics. The end result is an unrivaled depth of understanding about what is driving shopper and consumer behavior below the surface of industry data sources. The enriched data also provides incremental variables relevant to a broad assortment of analytical use cases and applications.
The types of tags we provide for food and beverage products include:

Enrichments append the following fields to UPC-level product data:
- UPC
- Tag: the concept associated with the product
- Tag Types: our categorization of the concept in the tag
- Affiliation Score: the strength of association of this concept to this item; where 1 is strongly affiliated and 0 is weak affiliation (we implement a lower limit for these exercises to put forward the most relevant tags, and we able to customize this threshold to be more/less inclusive as desired for the engagement)
- Data Elements: where the tag about the item was sourced

The business application of this data spans the spectrum of brand and retail use cases. Commercial applications of the Harmonya product data include innovation, marketing, merchandising, and e-commerce. Operational applications of the Harmonya product data include supply chain, product development, demand planning, and sustainability.
Each engagement with Harmonya is scoped to the specific category and product needs of our customers. Unlike standalone product information sources, Harmonya can be seamlessly integrated with existing trusted data sources at the UPC level.
Expected workflow:
- Customer shares list of UPCs with Harmonya via a Snowflake share for data enrichment.
- Harmonya uses a Snowflake share and Harmonya's proprietary applications to provide the customer with customized enriched UPC-level product data and insights.
