Share of people who buy at least one e-book per month Japan 2023

According to an online survey conducted in Japan in October 2023, more than 30 percent of respondents purchased one or more e-books per month. While the share of people who buy at least one book per month was higher in the case of printed books, frequent e-book buyers tended to buy a higher number of books per month than frequent buyers of printed books.
