This statistic shows U.S. survey respondents answers to a question of the ways in which they had interacted with non-profit organizations through their smartphones in 2012. Survey respondents were from generation Y, aged between 20 and 35 years and only those who owned a smartphone. 17 percent of respondents said they had used their smartphone to tweet from a nonprofit event.
