Organic carbon disturbance in seabed sediments from mobile bottom fishing in the Canadian Pacific and Atlantic

This repository contains a set of geo-TIF files related to mobile bottom fishing effort (trawling & dredging for finfish and shellfish) in the Canadian Atlantic and Pacific regions and their respective estimated disturbance to seabed sediments carbon stocks, as well as a value quantifying the relative risk for seabed sediment carbon remineralisation from this disturbance in each region. TIF files either cover the Pacific (BC) or Atlantic (EC) regions and are split into raster bands for each relevant fishery and the sum of all fisheries. All TIFs represent the estimated annual mean from the period 2005-2021. All the associated code used for data manipulations, and file construction are also published here.
