Dataset: Biomechanical & Psychological Predictors of Failure in the Air Force Physical Fitness Test

This dataset accompanies the paper "Biomechanical & Psychological Predictors of Failure in the Air Force Physical Fitness Test" submitted to the Sports journal. Samples were deidentified at the point of collection. The independent variables include numeric and categorical data related to demographics, mental health surveys, fitness participation surveys, injury history surveys, physical performance measures, and body composition assessments. The dependent variable is whether or not the member passed their fitness test, and is titled "Passed APFT" - for this label, pass = 1, and fail = 0. This dataset was cleared with release # 88ABW-2021-0987.
