资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Michel Frankignoulle and oceanic ammonium made by Marc Elskens and Xose Salgado Alvarez during the Belgica 9815C research cruise on the Iberian Slope, North-East Atlantic as part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and the Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programmes. The cruise began on 27th June 1998 and ended on 7th July 1998 with a spatial coverage of +42N to +43N latitude and +9W to +10W longitude.
The data consists of:
-254 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column, computed from pH and alkalinity;
-254 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase), computed from pH and alkalinity;
-230 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by manual colorimetric analysis; and
-121 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by colorimetric autoanalysis.
See below for further details.
