Responsible AI Readiness–Priority Gap in Slovak Enterprises: An Open Dataset of 1,000 Firms

This open dataset contains enterprise-level survey data from 1,000 Slovak enterprises and is intended to support the assessment of the alignment between actual enterprise readiness for the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence and the managerial priorities associated with its implementation. Each row represents one enterprise, while the columns contain original scores for 14 actual-readiness criteria and seven managerial-priority criteria, measured on a 1–10 scale.The actual-readiness criteria are grouped into four dimensions: business and strategic-organizational readiness, financial and workforce readiness, technology and data readiness, and readiness for ethical and responsible AI use. The managerial-priority criteria cover strategic-organizational priorities, resource and workforce priorities, technology and data priorities, and responsible AI priorities.The dataset provides an empirical basis for applying, reproducing, and validating a multicriteria assessment model. It can be used to calculate component-level and aggregate indicators of actual readiness and managerial priorities, determine the direction and magnitude of the gap between managerial intentions and existing enterprise capabilities, classify enterprises by the severity of this gap, and identify areas requiring targeted managerial intervention.The data may also be used for descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, reliability testing, clustering, benchmarking, sensitivity analysis, and comparative studies of responsible AI readiness. The dataset is relevant to researchers, enterprise managers, policymakers, and institutions involved in digital transformation, AI governance, organizational readiness assessment, and responsible AI implementation.
