资源简介:
The dataset provides the first standardised and comprehensive assessment of the ecological impacts of 50 alien plant species introduced to Reunion Island, using the Environmental Impact Classification of Alien Taxa framework (EICAT). The impact records of these 50 alien species were compiled through systematic literature searches. Therefore, this dataset provides a transparent and reproducible baseline for understanding the magnitudes, mechanisms, and confidence of reported impacts of alien species. It can be used to support the prioritisation of invasive alien species based on the magnitude of their ecological impact, and thereby guide management, conservation and restoration actions. Moreover, when combining with species distribution data, impacts can be spatialised into risk maps to prioritise sites at high risk of impact. This risk maps can then guide management interventions in protected of high-level biodiversity sites. <br /> The dataset is described in the data paper Boulesnane-Guengant (in prep) "Ecological impacts of alien species in Reunion Island: a standardised dataset using the Environmental Impact Classification of Alien Taxa framework".
