YOSM

This dataset includes 1,500 film reviews sourced from five online film review platforms such as IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, featuring a balanced set of positive and negative reviews. The dataset was constructed by first gathering English-language review data, followed by manual translation carried out by native Yoruba speakers. The YOSM dataset is primarily applied in the field of sentiment analysis, with the objective of helping filmmakers and audiences gain insights into the market reception and audience sentiment towards films, thereby optimizing film production and selection.
