资源简介:

These are the raw data associated with the publication: "Development and testing of bio-based amphiphilic-designed polymer coatings as a safer approach to marine biofouling". For detailed information, please refer to the paper: DOI. Files include 3 separate documents (.xlsx) each include 2 sheets (Dataset, Taxonomy): Dataset_Bacterial_Community_Antifouling_Coatings Dataset_Fungal_Community_Antifouling_Coatings Dataset_Macrofouling_Community_Antifouling_Coatings There are also 3 separate folder (.zip file): Raw_Chemical_Data Raw_Sequencing_Data_18S Raw_Sequencing_Data_16S The folder “raw chemical data” contains the data supporting the chemical, thermal, structural, molecular-weight, and environmental analyses of the polymers reported in the article. The data are organized by technique: DSC excel files include thermal transition data and graphs; TGA excel files report mass loss and thermal stability data and graphs; FTIR data and graphs on excel support functional-group and structural analysis; ¹H NMR files provide molecular and structural characterization and consist in a folder for each polymer that can be directly imported on MestReNova to be visualized; GPC excel files contain molecular-weight distribution data and graphs. The Environmental Assessment folder contains the data used for the environmental evaluation reported in the article, including supporting information for the sustainability or impact assessment of the studied materials or processes. The folders "Raw_Sequencing_Data_18S" and "Raw_Sequencing_Data_16S" contain the raw sequencing data for fungal and bacterial community characterisation, respectively. "Raw_Sequencing_Data_18S" includes paired-end Illumina NovaSeq reads (2×300 bp) targeting the V7-V8 regions of the 18S rRNA gene, used for fungal community profiling. Raw FASTQ files are provided as generated prior to any bioinformatic processing. "Raw_Sequencing_Data_16S" includes raw Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing data (FASTQ format) targeting the full-length 16S rRNA gene (V1-V9 regions), used for bacterial community characterisation. Files are provided as generated by the MinION sequencer prior to downstream analysis. For details on DNA extraction, amplification, sequencing protocols, and bioinformatic pipelines applied to these datasets, please refer to the Materials and Methods section of the associated publication.
