<p>This dataset accompanies the research study <em>"Meditation as a Tool for Symptom Relief in Schizophrenia: Bridging Neuroscience and Mental Health"</em> and provides anonymized quantitative and qualitative data collected during a 12-week mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) program for individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia.</p> <p>The data includes:</p> <ul> <li>Pre- and post-intervention scores from the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS)</li> <li>Results from cognitive performance assessments (Digit Span and Trail Making Tests)</li> <li>Quality of life scores from the WHOQOL-BREF</li> <li>Thematic summaries derived from semi-structured interviews with patients and healthcare providers</li> </ul> <p>The purpose of this dataset is to evaluate the clinical efficacy, cognitive impact, and cultural feasibility of meditation as an adjunctive therapy for schizophrenia. It supports the study’s aim to integrate contemplative neuroscience with mental health care by offering robust, multimodal evidence.</p> <p>All identifying information has been removed in compliance with ethical research standards. Researchers interested in replicating or building upon this work are encouraged to reference this dataset.</p>
