资源简介:
This dataset contains 1,091 line-kilometers of airborne frequency-domain electromagnetic and magnetic measurements collected in May 2022 across the Bogg Creek watershed, near Norman Wells, Northwest Territories Canada. The Bogg Creek watershed is a 185 km^2 sub-arctic watershed where discontinuous permafrost is known to be present. Data were collected using the Resolve 6 system, which utilized six different frequencies to provide both vertical and lateral resistivity information of the subsurface to a depth of approximately 100 m below ground surface. Resistivity measurements were inverted using the UBC EM1DFM 1D inversion code, with inverted results also provided as part of this file. These data provide insights into the spatial distribution of permafrost and the interactions between permafrost, groundwater and surface water, ground cover, and bedrock and unconsolidated sediments. These data are associated with the article, "Revealing Permafrost Continuity across a Northern Watershed with Airborne Electromagnetics" by Conway-White, O., Steelman, C.M., Smiarowski, A., and Rudolph, A.L. (2026). Journal of Geophysical Research Earth Surface.
