16S and COI barcoding sequences for crustaceans and cephalopods collected from the northern Gulf of Mexico for cruises DP05 and DP06 from 2015-05-04 to 2018-07-28

This dataset contains 16S and COI barcoding sequences from crustaceans and cephalopods captured aboard the R/V Point Sur (DP05 and DP06) during 2 cruises undertaken from 2015-05-04 to 2018-07-28 in the Northern Gulf of Mexico. It is estimated that there are a total of about 200 individuals and 2 genes for a total of 400 sequences. This data will help identify cryptic species and make adult-larval linkages.
