2014年5月，爱尔兰政府发布《2020年建筑业：重塑建筑业发展战略（Construction 2020 – A Strategy for a Renewed Construction Sector）》（外部链接）。该战略明确了政府政策方向，旨在提升建筑业创造并维持就业岗位的能力，推动行业发展至与现代经济需求相匹配的可持续规模。

都柏林住房供应协调特别工作组
《2020年建筑业》战略的第二项行动承诺设立都柏林住房供应协调特别工作组。据此，该工作组于2014年6月正式成立，成员包括环境、社区与地方政府部、都柏林市、芬戈尔、南都柏林及敦莱里-拉斯当四个都柏林地方当局、爱尔兰国家资产管理局（National Asset Management Agency，简称NAMA）及其他相关机构，由南都柏林郡议会首席执行官担任工作组主席。

该工作组的核心目标为解决都柏林地区住房交付环节的各类供给相关问题。目前工作组正协同合作，甄别已获得规划许可且具备向市场交付住房能力的住宅开发项目。
