Experimental Dataset, Optical Micrographs, and Radiographic Inspection Results for WAAM-Fabricated ER70S-6 Steel

This repository contains an experimental dataset, optical micrographs, and gamma-ray radiographic inspection results obtained from nine WAAM processing conditions of ER70S-6 steel. For each deposited wall, microstructural characterization and hardness measurements were conducted at three sampling locations (top, middle, and bottom) to evaluate the influence of build location on material properties. The dataset includes ferrite fraction, grain diameter, defect severity, and Vickers hardness measurements obtained from two experimental replications of each processing condition, yielding a total of 54 observations. The repository also provides supporting microstructural and radiographic images used for ferrite quantification, grain size measurement, and defect characterization.
