SDG 6.3.1 Proportion of Safely Treated Domestic Wastewater Flows

This dataset shows the percentage of domestic wastewater flows generated in the State of Qatar that are safely treated before being discharged or reused, covering the period from 2020 to 2024. Domestic wastewater covers the flows produced by households and by service activities of a comparable nature, including blackwater and greywater. Safe treatment means that the flow reaches a treatment facility and is treated to a level that protects public health and the environment. A higher percentage indicates that a larger share of the wastewater generated is handled safely rather than released untreated.
