We aimed to quantify in silico the expression level of candidate genes in different Clytia gonad tissues and oocytes at different growth stage Overall design: A total of 8 samples were analysed: 4 different gonad samples; 2 biological replicates for each. In order to obtain a high enough RNA concentration for each sample we pooled tissues and oocytes that had been dissected in different days, under the same conditions and same jellyfish age.
