DEVELOPMENT TRENDS OF MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

This article examines the development trends of multicultural education in the context of globalization and analyzes its role in improving the quality of modern education. The study explores the theoretical foundations of multicultural education, current educational reforms in Uzbekistan, and contemporary approaches to developing intercultural competence among students. A qualitative research methodology based on document analysis, comparative analysis, and literature review was employed to investigate national educational policies and scientific publications. The findings indicate that multicultural education contributes to strengthening tolerance, intercultural dialogue, social cohesion, and global citizenship while preserving national identity.
