Genetic diversity of wild-type and cultivated Capsicum accessions from Guam and Tinian using MIG-seq

We utilized multiplexed inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) genotyping by sequencing (MIG-seq) to assess the genetic diversity of 37 Capsicum accessions, encompassing both cultivated and wild types, collected from Guam and the island of Tinian in the Northern Mariana Islands. By using SNPs identified from MIG-seq analysis, we evaluate its potential use for delineating species, assessing gene flow, and studying introgression between wild and cultivated plants.
