PATMOS-x AVHRR monthly cloud physical and microphysical parameters over the Australian region between 1979 and 2018 v1.0

This collection contains 40 years (1979 – 2018) of monthly-averaged observations of cloud physical and microphysical properties over the Australian region extracted from the extensive PATMOS-x AVHRR database. These Level 3 files cover the continent of Australia (plus Tasmania), a spatial extent between 5° S and 45° S and 105° E and 160° E, at a spatial resolution of 0.1°. The monthly files separately summarise observations recorded at four different times of the day; early morning (EM), mid-morning (AM), mid-afternoon (PM) and early evening (EV).
