Genetic and genome analyses of Nosema ceranae populations isolated from Thailand

Nosema ceranae is a honeybee pathogen that has been proposed to be associated with Colony Collapse Disorder. To better understand Nosema ceranae biology and genetics, we investigated its genomic diversity within part of their native range (Thailand) and among different hosts (Apis mellifera, A. cerana). This study aims to compare the genomes of these native populations to other global populations of this pathogen.
