It covers a wide range of disciplines including marine meteorology, physical oceanography, chemical oceanography, biological oceanography, sedimentology, marine biology and fisheries, environmental quality, coastal and estuarine research, and marine geology and geophysics. This database describes research projects in the form of metadata tables, with its primary goals being to assist users in identifying research activities of interest and to connect relevant research managers and organizations across Europe. Currently, EDMERP includes approximately 3,000 research projects from organizations across Europe.
