Recalibrated SDSS astrometry and SDSS/Gaia DR1 proper motions

This is the catalogue of recalibrated SDSS astrometry and Gaia DR1 vs SDSS proper motions.The catalogue was constructed by Sergey Koposov, described and used in de Boer et al. (2018), Deason et al. (2018) and Belokurov et al. (2018)This catalogue contains the combination of Gaia DR1 and SDSS measurements for sources in common between the two surveys. The catalogue also contains updated SDSS positions based on the recalibration of SDSS astrometry and proper motions measured from the comparison of Gaia DR1 and recalibrated SDSS positions.

The catalogue is split based on the HEALPIX index. Each file is a FITS table. The column description is given below.The catalogue was uploaded on Zenodo in 2024, but it is the same catalogue that was used for the published studies in 2017-2018 and was copied from https://www.ast.cam.ac.uk/~koposov/files/sdss_gaia/
